Saturday, December 10th:
Christmas Giving Drive for NYC Public School Children & Prime Time Holiday Nursing Home Initiative.

 

This will be a holiday drive for toys, blankets, socks, slippers, etc.
Service Project: “Second Saturday Serve” Decorating and Packing” project to kick off the holiday season!

Partnership For Parks-10:00AM-1:00PM: 20 Volunteers Needed
Underwood Playground (Lafayette & Washington Aves.)

 

The Horticulture director of NYC Parks has an urgent need for volunteers. The project entails Raking Leaves, Planting Bulbs and Removing Invasive plants. Gardner gloves and bags will be provided. Volunteers should be age 12yrs+.

Children of Promise, NYC-9:45AM-2:00PM: 15 Volunteers Needed
Children of Promise, NYC (CPNYC) is a community based, non-profit organization, in Bedford-Stuyvesant (Bed Stuy) Brooklyn, whose mission is to embrace the children of incarcerated parents and empower them to break the cycle of intergenerational involvement in the criminal justice system.
Service Project: Saturday Resource Tutoring Center (Academic Tutoring: reading, tutoring, crafts. Ages 6-14)

JESUS’ Joys! Prep-12:30-3:30PM: 10 Volunteers Needed

Volunteers will sort inventory and package donations for our JESUS’ Joys! Project.
