The church’s ability to do the work of ministry requires the support of its members and their willingness to give to the work of God in two specific ways: Money & Minutes
Our monetary contribution to the ministry is to be made in the form of tithes and offerings. A tithe is 10% of a believer’s gross (total) annual income which they give to the ministry on a regular basis as they receive it in form of salary, earnings, dividends, etc.. An offering is a free-will contribution, beyond a tithe, which a believer gives to the ministry as he/she sees the need and their ability.
Our contribution of time (minutes) is done through our involvement and service within the ministry as we engage in projects and assignments that aid others in worship and fulfilling their calling to serve God and others within the faith community and beyond.
The church cannot thrive without caring for its neighbors, friends and members.
