Infant / Child Dedication

Thank you for considering Emmanuel Baptist Church for your Infant/Child Dedication. Please note, we dedicate children up to 5 years of age.
Our 2024 Dedication Class and Worship Service dates are listed below.
Class Time: Emmanuel B. C. – Use Side Entry at 36 St. James Place
9am – 12pm
Saturday Classes (On-Campus ONLY)
- January 27th
- April 27th
- July 27th
- October 26th
Dedication Worship Services:
4th Sunday of each month, 9 am – 10:30 am or 11 am – 12:30 pm (will be assigned upon registration – maximum 3 families per service)
Ceremony (On-Campus) Sundays:
- January 28th
- April 28th
- July 28th
- October 27th
Dedication Class attendance is mandatory for parent(s) and all other persons who will be standing as participants in the Dedication Ceremony!
If you do not take the class, you are welcome to attend and remain seated in the congregation during the ceremony.
Fees for our Children’s Dedication classes are $35.00 for the first adult and $15.00 for each additional adult. There is no class fee for children under the age of 18 nor is there a fee for people attending the Worship Service only.
Pay fees at the class by placing cash, checks, or money orders in a sealed envelope with your child’s name, the name of individual(s) for whom you are paying, & the total amount, or you may pay through EBC Giving on ebcconnects.com, or one of our payment applications. If paying online, bring payment receipt with you to class or forward to infantdedication@ebc-ny.org.

Plan Your Wedding
Marriage is esteemed to be one of God’s most profound expressions of love. The commitment, established through declarations of love and promises of faithfulness two individuals make to one another, is regarded in scripture as being reminiscent of the spiritual union between Christ Jesus and the Church.
Requirements:
In order to be wedded at Emmanuel or by one of our associate ministers (ordained clergy), couples must attend and complete premarital counseling. Please complete the registration form, and you will be contacted within 3 to 5 business days. For more information, please email: counseling@ebc-ny.org.
Scheduling the Ceremony:
After completing premarital counseling, the couple will once again be put in contact with a Ceremony Administrator who will assist in scheduling a ceremony at Emmanuel or arranging for one of Emmanuel’s clergy to perform the ceremony at an alternate location. The Ceremony Administrator will also establish a time for the couple to come in and formalize the terms of the wedding agreement. The signed agreement is to be accompanied by a $500.00 deposit.
PLEASE NOTE:
All other costs/fees associated with the ceremony will be determined and noted in the agreement. All fees are to be paid in full one (1) month prior to the ceremony. To make wedding arrangements, please contact EBC’s Ceremony Administrator:
